Big Lottery Fund, Awards For All, and SDMHA's A.G.M

SDMHA has just been awarded a grant of £5000 from Awards for All to enable members to go on camping trips and buy the equipment for this.

Also we have been successful with a Big Lottery Fund grant of £121,450 to employ a sports and leisure worker to develop new opportunities for members over 3 years. New sports and leisure pursuits will be available 5 days a week; with proper medical considerations, planning with local community providers and we hope to link in with members psychiatrists and G.P’s to refer them for specific sports and leisure packages to meet their needs.

Our Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 28th March 2006 from 5.30pm at the Halcyon Club, 2 Tarmount Lane, Shoreham by Sea. This was an excellent opportunity for people to hear about our work.
