Betty and Don

Down in deepest Devon, Ann's sister Betty and her husband Don (seen here at breakfast planning their day) are proving that life really does begin at retirement, by indulging in a 'jet setting' lifestyle which has all of 'us Maguires' very envious indeed (let me tell you!).

About half of their year is spent relaxing in their rambling 'retirement bungalow', - then they're off visiting their many children and grandchildren, caravanning for months at a time in the south of France, and also jetting off for cultural exchange visits to Russia, America (and all parts in between), fulfilling their role as official goodwill ambassadors of 'The Friendship Force'. The Framptons are well renowned for their very generous hospitality (whenever you can catch them at home, that is).

Their many hobbies and interests include gardening, antique collecting, and more recently Don's frequent use of computers and E-bay..
