A variety of arts techniques are on offer to the members of The Corner House.

Arts Sessions, both group and one to one in Batik, Glass, oil painting, Pottery, Silk work, Woodwork and other mediums - stained galls - jewellery making - computer art and graphic design - drama groups - music group - digital photography.

The art space is a small friendly environment. The sessions are facilitated by the two art instructors in post - Alice Watts and Angie Pantall.

The sessions are run depending on the individual needs of the members. This can vary from one to one sessions through to small supporting groups working either together or individually.

Over the years the creativity of the members that have come through the art room has been abundant. This has ranged from individual works of art to larger group commissions for a variety of mental health organisations, such as Meadowfield, The Ridings and Carters Lane.

Other successful community run events and exhibitions have been at Worthing's museum gallery exhibition 'Making Waves' and a large puppet show at the Barn Theatre in Southwick.

The art mediums available are wide ranging from painting, ceramics, glass fussing, water work, beading, sculpture, printmaking, papermaking, felting to name but a few.

The possibilities are endless for members to experiment freely and with confidence as well as most importantly to have fun in the safe supportive atmosphere of The Corner House.
